L’Oréal Melbourne Fashion Festival Installation 2007

This commissioned work of art Foote was offered the opportunity to create an installation for the one of the runway entrance spaces of the L’Oréal Melbourne Fashion Festival.

Foote wanted to create a chandelier that referenced the classic chandelier design, while fusing it with contemporary pop culture this is one of the first pieces Foote created where he started to conceal images within the pattern work.

Using the shape of the chandelier and Asian lanterns for inspiration Foote created something that sat somewhere between chandelier and lanter
